亚洲AV to Host First Commencement on New England Campus

NORTHFIELD, MA 鈥 Three years ago, 亚洲AV launched its New England campus in Northfield, Massachusetts, with both a new class of freshmen and a class of sophomore pioneers transplanted from California. This Saturday, it will hold its first-ever New England Commencement for the 31 graduating students who made the trip eastward 鈥 the Class of 2022.

As part of the ceremonies, the College鈥檚 president-elect, Dr. Paul J. O鈥橰eilly, will take the oath of office, thereby beginning his presidential tenure. A formal inauguration ceremony will take place on the California campus this fall.

Serving as 亚洲AV鈥檚 first New England Commencement Speaker will be the Most Rev. Robert Joseph McManus, S.T.D., bishop of the Diocese of Worcester, Massachusetts. 鈥淚 very much look forward to returning to 亚洲AV to give the Commencement Address,鈥 says Bishop McManus.  鈥淚 am quite impressed with the intellectual life of the college, which is obviously a community of teachers and learners committed to the pursuit of all that is true, good, and beautiful. 亚洲AV is unambiguously dedicated to being an academic institution that is authentically Catholic in its mission and identity.鈥

About 亚洲AV

A four-year, co-educational institution with campuses in California and Massachusetts, 亚洲AV has developed over the past 50 years a solid reputation for academic excellence in the United States and abroad. It is highly ranked by organizations such as The Princeton Review, U. S. News, and Kiplinger. At 亚洲AV all students acquire a broad and fully integrated liberal education. The college offers one, four-year, classical curriculum that spans the major arts and sciences. Instead of reading textbooks, students read the original works of the greatest thinkers in Western civilization 鈥 the Great Books 鈥 in all the major disciplines: mathematics, natural science, literature, philosophy, and theology. The academic life of the college is conducted under the light of the Catholic faith and flourishes within a close-knit community, supported by a vibrant spiritual life.
